Her commitment to service, integrity, and family drives her work, ensuring BAC’s mission to empower brokers is met with impactful action and meaningful results.
When she’s not championing brokers, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and staying engaged with her local community.
Brendan McKay
Chief Advocacy Officer & Co-Founder
As Co-Founder and Chief Advocacy Officer of the BAC, Brendan amplifies the needs of wholesale mortgage professionals and their homebuyers to policymakers on Capitol Hill. He has spearheaded a number of advocacy successes, including creating the largest PAC that has ever existed for mortgage brokers, the BACPAC, passing of the Disabled Veterans Tax Exemption in multiple states, granting Brokers access to the Hometown Heroes program in Florida, and much more.
Before founding the BAC, Brendan served as the President of Advocacy for the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts (AIME), meeting regularly with members of Congress to advocate for mortgage brokers and homebuyers across the country.
In addition to his advocacy work, Brendan is a top-producing mortgage originator, bringing years of firsthand experience in helping homebuyers achieve their dreams of homeownership. His deep understanding of the mortgage process (from origination to operations) and what matters to consumers helps him bridge the gap when speaking with legislators and regulators.
